Hi, I am Zsofia Viragos-Kovacs, living in Budapest, Hungary. 
I believe that well rested children are essential to a well rested family. As a mom of two girls, I understand the challenges that come with ensuring your child gets a good night's sleep. After having my own babies, I quickly realized that sleep was something that needed to be prioritized in order for our family to thrive.

 

For over five years, I faced the daunting task of finding effective solutions to teach my daughters healthy sleep habits. With an unwavering determination, I embarked on a relentless pursuit of evidence-based answers and a gentle approach that would truly work for our family.

And then, everything changed.

CERTIFIED ADVANCED PEDIATRIC SLEEP PRACTITIONER

I stumbled upon a groundbreaking professional course that focused specifically on pediatric sleep theories and practices. Accredited at the highest level in the sleep consulting industry, this course provided me with the evidence-based answers I had been longing for all those years.

This course has truly been a game-changer, transforming not only our family's sleep routine but also our overall well-being. After experiencing tremendous success in our private life, I realized the immense need for genuine, effective, and compassionate assistance in helping families achieve quality sleep for their children.

It was then that Kidz Sleep Consulting was born.

 

In addition to my advanced certification as a pediatric sleep practitioner, I have invested my time in completing several supplementary trainings to enhance and broaden my knowledge. These additional certifications have made me feel complete and professional in my expertise.

 

CERTIFIED MATERNITY NURSE

One important training I have undergone is in maternity nursing and newborn care. I strongly believe that having a general understanding of newborn babies is essential when working with them. This training has provided me with valuable insights into the unique needs and challenges of newborns.

 

AUTISM AND SLEEP CERTIFIED

I have also taken part in a course and workshop focused on special needs children's sleep problems, with a particular emphasis on autism. This specialized training has equipped me with the knowledge and strategies needed to address the specific sleep-related issues faced by children with autism.

 

SAFE SLEEP AMBASSADOR

Furthermore, I am proud to have the distinction of being certified as a "Safe Sleep Ambassador." This certification highlights my commitment to promoting safe sleep practices and creating a secure sleep environment for infants and young children.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

In addition to my extensive sleep expertise, I hold a bachelor's degree in international relations and a diploma from the United Kingdom in counseling. Currently, I am in the process of completing a master's degree in human resources counseling.

 

I also have a qualification in healthcare mediation and expertise in alternative education. These diverse educational backgrounds and qualifications enrich my abilities as a sleep consultant, allowing me to provide a holistic and well-rounded approach to my services.

As a sleep consultant, I bring an in-depth understanding on sleep issues and of various sleep methods, each with its advantages and challenges, to create tailored strategies that fit your child's unique temperament and your family's lifestyle.

Navigating the vast range of sleep advice can be daunting, especially for new parents. You don't need to get buried in books and articles—I've already processed that information and can streamline it for you.

 

My approach is all-encompassing; it considers the entirety of your child's sleep issues, including any behavioral or medical factors. We will work together, considering your readiness and commitment, as your involvement is critical. Success comes from our teamwork: you'll implement the strategies we decide on, and I'll provide the guidance, support, and encouragement. The real change happens through your consistent efforts at home.

Ultimately, the effectiveness of our journey relies on you—I'm here to teach, steer, motivate, and back you up, but the daily actions, the response to cries, and the bedtime routine will be in your hands.

I advocate for being attuned to a child's cues and signals, crafting a sleep routine that harmonizes with their individual patterns, rather than imposing strict regimens that overlook their personal needs and rhythms.

I love seeing families to thrive. That's why the mission of Kidz Sleep is centered around providing the special care, support, education, and resources a mother needs. This way, she can give the very best of herself to her children.

 

I firmly believe that a major reason many moms aren't catching the restful sleep vital for their mental well-being is due to the myths and negative beliefs surrounding sleep training. I'm wholeheartedly dedicated to reshaping these misconceptions. 

 

My goal is to help you cherish every single moment of being a parent by ensuring peaceful nights at home, allowing you to be fully there for your little ones.

 

I'm devoted to working with every single one of my clients so that by the end of our time together they feel refreshed and brimming with confidence to continue on their parenting path.

MAKE A CALL AND SET YOUR GOALS 

Once you’ve hired us, you’ll schedule an initial phone discovery consultation to discuss your child’s schedule and sleep habits in detail, as well as your goals for your child’s sleep routine.

ELIMINATE THE GUESSWORK

We will craft a detailed sleep plan for your child, complete with clear, step-by-step instructions.

You will receive a consulting session in-your home (or on-line) and facilitation of a family planning meeting prior to implementation.

You will also receive additional sources to ensure your success and everything that was discussed during our meeting will be provided in written form.

RECEIVE SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT 

Throughout the days, you'll have regular check-ins with us, addressing challenges as they come up, receiving encouragement and coaching to stay on course with your chosen sleep shaping/training method, making adjustments as necessary, and celebrating successes. The support provided during this time will ensure both you and your child make steady progress in your sleep journey.
