Behind KIDZ SLEEP

Grounded in real experience.
I’m Zsófia Virágos-Kovács, a certified pediatric sleep consultant and founder of KIDZ SLEEP Consulting and a mother of two little girls who once struggled through long months of broken nights. I know first-hand how exhausting it is when sleep becomes the center of every day. That experience is what pushed me toward evidence-based answers. I wanted clarity, structure, and methods that truly work for real families.
Professional background.
I have completed two internationally recognised pediatric sleep consulting programs, gaining the comprehensive expertise that forms the core of my work today.
My qualifications include:
-
Advanced Paediatric Sleep Practitioner – UK (OCN Level 6)
-
Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant – USA
-
Postnatal Maternity Nurse Care – UK (OCN Level 4)
-
Solving Sleep Issues for Kids with Special Needs – advanced training in supporting children with additional needs
-
Safe Sleep Ambassador – specialised training in safe infant sleep practices
Together, these form the strong and reliable professional foundation on which all my work is built.
And the background that completes it.
My academic studies in International Relations and Human Resources Counselling, along with several years of experience as a certified trainer working with students and educators, have shaped the way I understand and support people,
and the way I accompany families throughout the process.
Through my work, I have learned that real change begins where we are able to truly understand each other:
our needs, our patterns, and our emotions.
This is the mindset I bring to every family I work with: empathetic, collaborative, and grounded in solid professional expertise. I see every day how much it means to parents when they receive support that is steady, understanding, and genuinely holding.

Our Perspective
Sleep is never just about nights.
It shapes how your whole family feels during the day.
Parents come to KIDZ SLEEP when they want clarity instead of overwhelm, structure instead of trial and error, and a partner who takes real weight off their shoulders.
My approach is rooted in science and shaped around your child’s temperament, your lifestyle, and the way you want to parent.
There’s no one-size-fits-all, no rigid rules. Just thoughtful, personalized strategies that respect your values and your child’s rhythm. I look at the whole picture: habits, environment, developmental stages, and the small cues that often go unnoticed.
We decide together what direction makes sense and I guide you through the steps with calm, steady support.
You know your child best. I bring advanced sleep expertise.
Our work meets in the middle.
This is a true partnership: you implement, I guide;
you observe, I adjust;
you show up for your child, and I show up for you.
My role is to bring clarity, structure, and confidence into a process that often feels chaotic on your own.
I help you understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how to support your child in a way that feels both effective and deeply respectful.

You have a partner who treats your progress as a priority,
your child with genuine care, and your family’s wellbeing as the goal we work toward together.
At the heart of it all is one belief:
When sleep makes sense, family life feels lighter and parents can show up as the version of themselves they want to be.
The Program: Step-by-Step
01
THE PREP WORK
After you decide to work together, we begin with a deep, detailed look at the why behind your little one’s sleep.
You’ll receive a comprehensive questionnaire, and I review: current sleep patterns, nutrition, schedule, routines, environment, temperament, your ideal vision of sleep, your capacity for change, and a brief medical history to rule out red flags.
02
THE PREP CALL
During the first consulting call, we break down what’s driving your child’s current sleep patterns and identify the steps needed for solid nights and strong naps. We refine daytime nutrition, nap timing, and sensory routines to support more consolidated nighttime sleep. We discuss weaning sleep associations and choose the most suitable approach for encouraging independent settling.
Everything is matched to your child’s temperament and aligned with your parenting style — no pressure, no mismatch, just a plan that feels right.
03
THE PROGRAM
The strength of this process lies in the combination of a thoughtfully designed sleep program, an in-home kickoff, daily communication,
and steady and ongoing support. You’ll receive your child’s Sleep Program by email, and we meet at your home to walk you through every step in person. Afterwards I guide you through each moment of the two-week journey.
04
CONGRATS! YOU DID IT!
In our closing session, we review the progress of the two weeks — celebrating both you and your child.
I remain available for future check-in calls whenever you need extra support. By now, you’ve seen it firsthand: your little one can learn to rest confidently in their crib or bed with your steady support and encouragement.
The roadmap, the settling approach, and the timeline will never look the same for every child.
